The third sign of the Zodiac is Gemini, commonly known as the Twins. If your birthday falls between May 21 – June 21, your astrological sign is Gemini. It is a positive extroverted masculine sign that’s ruled by Mercury.
It’s also an air sign along with Libra and Aquarius. Because it’s an air sign, it’s often associated with being intellectual or philosophical, with good communication skills.
Gemini, like other astrological signs originated from the constellation that shares its name. But also like many of the other signs, it is no in alignment with the constellation due to the precession of the equinoxes.
An interesting note about the constellation is its origin. In Greek mythology, the origins of Gemini are often based upon the Greek myth of Castor and Pollux – twin sons of Leda having different fathers. Pollux’s father was Zeus and Castor’s father was Tyndareus. This left Pollux immortal, and Castor immortal. Upon Castor’s death, Pollux asked Zeus if he could share his immortality with his brother. He were granted that wish and they were then transformed into the Gemini Constellation.
Geminis are often inquisitive people that are highly intellectual and charming. They’re often upbeat and optimistic, possessing much energy and a positive outlook. They’re generally skilled at multitasking and communication abilities, and have a high level of creativity. Geminis frequent want to be the center of attention in most situations. On the negative side, Geminis can also be very vain and overly critical. They’re often described as temperamental and fickle.
Some careers that are a good fit for the Gemini are anything related to the arts and entertainment. Actors, musicians, models, comedians. Anything that commands attentions.

Taurus, the bull, is the second sign of the zodiac and is one of the earth signs. Your sign is Taurus if your birth date falls between April 21 and May 21. Taurus originally came from the Taurus constellation, but due to the precession of the equinoxes it is no longer in alignment with the constellation. It’s one of the 6 negative or feminine signs of the zodiac, and is associated with introversion, although this isn’t always the case.
It is also one of the four fixed signs. The fixed signs of the zodiac imply strength and perseverance, and conversely a bit of stubbornness and inflexibility. The phrase stubborn as a bull is often used to describe a Taurus.

One of the main traits of the Taurus is that of stubbornness. Along with that, they’re also dedicated and determined. A Taurus is typically sensible, practical, reliable, and stable, and often described as loving and romantic. Creativity and artistic talents are often part of their persona. They’re relaxed, and mellow being somewhat slow to anger. Calm, cool, and collected are suitable terms for the Taurus until they reach a breaking point, at which time they can become furious.
Some of the less desirable traits of the taurus are that they can be jealous and possibly overly possessive. They’re more likely to be inflexible in their opinions and actions and can be somewhat greedy.
