A Horoscope Reading Doesn’t Have to Always be Serious, It Can Be FUN Too!

I love to read the horoscopes in magazines. I enjoy reading my own and my boyfriend’s. Since they’re not specifically written for me, I don’t put too much stock in them, but they’re really fun, and more often than not, they’re spot on.
As soon as my Cosmopolitan magazine comes in the mail each month, I flip to the horoscopes and read them aloud. I typically read mine first, then my boyfriend’s. Usually, we can share a laugh at the very least, and it’s a fun little thing to do together. I find it really interesting when it tells you about romantic compatibility as far as friendships and relationships are concerned. As luck would have it, our horoscopes say that we’re very compatible as lovers! But I really didn’t need a horoscope reading to know that!
Even though I think that the daily or monthly horoscopes are pretty accurate, I think that the individual Zodiac sign readings themselves are very good. They are especially good at describing a person based solely on when they were born. For example, I’m a Sagittarius, and I think that I have many of the typical traits and characteristics of that sign. I would say that I’m reliable and trustworthy, and I’m definitely an optimist—all common in Sagittarius descriptions. I also have quite a temper and am very impatient, which are some common flaws of people born under this sign.
Overall, I don’t think you should let horoscopes and Zodiac signs rule your life, but they’re interesting to read and something to keep in mind for sure. More often than not, at least for me, they’re extremely accurate and provide some great feedback into where my life could be heading.
Getting your horoscope from Tarot card readings, on the other hand, seems eerily accurate sometimes. My cousin got really into Tarot cards years ago and she used to read my horoscope for me all the time. their quality of a tarot reading definitely varies, but sometimes it’s so spot on that it’s scary! Obviously, you can’t become totally paralyzed and consumed by what their forecasts are for your life, but I think that it’s something to keep in mind when you’re making important choices.
Sometimes, she would help me make important decisions using the cards. She also had a friend that would call and ask for readings all the time before making they made any major decisions. Generally, though, I feel pretty much the same way about Tarot cards as horoscope reading; Use it to help enhance your life, and have fun with it!

Horoscope reading is an interesting and fun pastime. Some people see the innate truth behind it, while others laugh at the possibilities. But either way it is enjoyed and practiced by millions of people around the world. The uncanny truths behind one’s horoscope is enough to keep them engaged and seeking out their newest horoscope on at least a weekly basis. You may wonder – Do I make life altering decisions based on my horoscope? The answer is yes…sometimes I do!
Who can argue that there isn’t a higher power? I believe there is and that sometimes our own fates are written in the stars. For those who enjoy horoscope reading purely for entertainment or comedic value, the question is – why not?
One great use for a horoscope reading is that of romantic compatibility. It can be a very good indicator if the signs of you and your lover are destined to be soul mates – like that of Taurus and Virgo.
Or on a more whimsical note, perhaps it’s just funny to find out that your mother-in-law’s sign hints that she’s going to endure great difficulty in the coming week! Not that we’d want that of course…;-)
It can also be a great way to try and explain why your bratty little sister is so stubborn or why your next door neighbor won’t ever say hi. Maybe he’s shy or maybe, as his horoscope may read, he is the kind of person who doesn’t enjoy the company of others.
There is a world full of answers in horoscope reading just waiting for us to explore and discover. There’s a wealth of meanings, truths, coincidences, and humorous events that are just waiting to be found through a horoscope reading.
One way to get started is to try one of the seemingly millions of horoscope websites offered on the internet. This is a great way to get your feet wet and learn about getting a horoscope reading and at the same time have fun!
So try it out and learn what I have come to enjoy as the pastime of horoscope reading, and then share it with your family and friends. You will be surprised what the sun, moon, stars, and signs will tell you!
